“Hug from God” from Uganda

I was so blessed this week when my phone rang.  Before answering I noticed the usually long number, unlike the 10 numbers I see everyday when the phone rings. It was Pastor Joel Robinson Mugambwa, author of “Praying to Make a Difference” calling from Uganda. When he was in the US several months ago, he picked up the OnCall Prayer Journal.  Pastor Joel was calling to tell me how blessed he was by using my prayer journal. Now THAT was a Hug from God . . . all the way from the other side of the world! What a thoughtful word of encouragement, indeed.  Let’s remember to take the time to encourage others daily.

  1. This is wonderful! What a testimony to God’s all-encompassing vision. Thank you for sharing this word of encouragement today. For those of us who feel called to work full time in sharing the Gospel message, it’s sometimes difficult to see the overall “big picture” when so many challenging things vie for our daily attention. Thank God for His ability to give us reassurance through His saints, such as Pastor Joel in Uganda, that our efforts are never in vain! Your On Call Prayer Journal is being used mightily all around the world! Amen!
